| Detailed
Analysis
Every two months we mail a detailed
report on a USA company and an Australian company.
To make it easier to compare companies, these reports
always follow the same format in four parts: Introduction,
Understanding the Company, Conscious Investor Quick
Analysis and Determining the Price. They contain many
screen shots from Conscious Investor.
Frequently the reports contain interviews
with senior management or recent statements by them.
Also there is an analysis of the economic moat of
the company in terms of its type, strength and durability.
Subscribers, particularly the
newer ones, like to follow through the steps in the
reports by getting the same images and numbers on
their computer monitors by using Conscious Investor.
This is a both a learning tool and a confirmation
that they understand the analysis methods.

Summary
Analysis
(Watch List)
The second type of report is part of
what we call the Conscious Investor Watch List. These
are companies that pass all, or nearly all, the requirements
of the Conscious Investor screens. In general the
reports in the Watch List will be updated twice a
year although the frequency for some companies may
be higher or lower.
The forecasts in these reports are estimates
and only intended to be starting points. Subscribers
make their own evaluation of whether the margin of
safety is sufficiently broad and hence to their degree
of confidence in the estimated return.
As with the detailed reports, each
analysis of a stock in the Watch List will be summarized
in standardized way: Company Description, Conscious
Investor Screens, Conscious Investor Quick Analysis,
Business and Scenario Analysis. One feature of these
reports is that "traffic lights" are applied
to nine areas: too many caution or stop lights means
that it may not be an investment grade company.
